During the reporting period (04 to 10 January 2023), a total of 60 movements were recorded - 23 arrivals (2,892 individuals), 20 departures (776 individuals), and 17 returns (452 individuals).

The Horn of Africa and Yemen is one of the busiest and riskiest migration corridors in the world travelled by hundreds of thousands of migrants, the majority of whom travel in an irregular manner, often relying on smugglers to facilitate movement along the Eastern Route.

During the reporting period (1 to 31 December 2022), a total of 37 movements were recorded - 18 arrivals (170 individuals), 19 departures (168 individuals). The largest arrival movements were recorded in Cidade de Nampula (159 individuals).

During the month of November 2022, a total of 48,755 movements were recorded and 3,245 migrants were interviewed across 33 Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) in Zimbabwe. The total movements recorded increased by 8% compared to the previous month.
