The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) is an information management system of tools and methodologies used to track and monitor displacement and population mobility.

In The Republic of Moldova, IOM activated the DTM programme in February 2022 due to an increasing number of persons fleeing from Ukraine to the neighboring countries, because of the war in Ukraine.

DTM implements baseline mobility assessments, flow monitoring and migration surveys to provide an essential evidence base that enables decision-makers and humanitarian, reintegration and development partners to maximize resources and deliver efficiently, better-targeted, humanitarian, reintegration, community stabilization and development programming.
