Between April and May 2024, IOM DTM deployed the SA round 36 and VAS round 19, in 11 regions across Ethiopia. The November - December 2023 data (Round 35 for SA and Round 18 for VAS) was compiled with the April - May 2024 data (Round 36 for SA and Round 19 for VAS) to consolidate national IDP and returning IDP figures updated to May 2024. The locations assessed during both rounds of data collection are not duplicated in the consolidated figures. SA is conducted in locations hosting a reported 20 or more IDP households, and the VAS is conducted in locations hosting a reported 20 or more returning IDP households that returned after 1 January 2022. It is to be noted that South Ethiopia region was not included due to operational constraints.

This report provides insights into the profiles, experiences and journeys of migrants transiting through the Republic of Serbia. Data was collected from 1 to 30 June 2024 together with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (SCRM). The sample consists of 151 interviewed migrants in Asylum Centres (AC) Sjenica, (AC) Tutin, (AC) Krnjaca, and Reception Centres (RC) Bujanovac, (RC) Presevo, and (RC) Pirot.

This report presents results from the early warning tool for the month of May 2024 in Kaduna and Katsina states. A network of key informants selected from members of the Community Response Networks (CRNs) and Local Government Area (LGAs) - based team leads, were employed for data collection.
In May 2024, the TTT early warning tool captured 99 alerts in Faskari and Kaita LGAs of the Katsina State, Kachia and Kaura LGAs of Kaduna State. The triangulated alerts recorded events (27%) and sudden movements (73%) during the period. Bondog Ward located in Kaura LGA and Gidan Tagwai Ward located in Kachia LGA shared the highest number of recorded event alerts in these locations.

This report presents data from the early warning tool for the month of May 2024 in Katsina State. A network of key informants selected from members of the Community Response Networks (CRNs) and Local Government Area (LGA) based team leads were used for data collection.
In May 2024, the TTT early warning tool captured 95 alerts in Batsari, Dan Musa, Jibia and Kanakara LGAs of Katsina State. The triangulated alerts recorded events (93%) and movements (7%) were recorded during the period. The event alerts were spread across 83 per cent of the wards in the four operational LGAs. Batsari, Dan Alhaji Yangayya and Dan Musa A wards in Batsari and Dan Musa LGAs, shared the highest number of recorded event alerts.
