877,537 displaced individuals comprising 145,217 households in 460 displacement sites were identified in Oromia region. These figures represent an increase of 24,964 individuals (+2.93%), an increase of 901 households (+0.62%), a decrement of 3 sites (-0.65%) since round 16 (March/April 2019).

31,041 displaced individuals comprising 3,846 households in 13 displacement sites were identified in Gambella region.

This analysis represents a snapshot of the displacement context from 1st May to 1st June 2019. It does not reflect any return movements or other changes which may have taken place after the period of data collection.

852,573 displaced individuals comprising  144,316 households in 463 displacement sites were identified in Oromia region.

90,144 displaced individuals comprising  21,439 households in 80 displacement sites were identified in Amhara region.

94,542 displaced individuals comprising  46,873 households in 183 displacement sites were identified in Tigray region.

20,883 displaced individuals comprising  3,034 households in 13 displacement sites were identified in Gambella region.

50,092 displaced individuals comprising  9,227 households in 58 displacement sites were identified in Afar region.

The majority of the recorded population were displaced before 2018 with 890 sites reportedly opening in 2016 or 2017 (DTM Rounds 1-8). Conflict was reported as the primary driver of displacement with 1,623,716 conflict-affected IDPs tracked through the Site Assessment.

1,066,732 displaced individuals comprising  176,771 households in 415 displacement sites were identified in Somali region.

49,437 displaced individuals comprising 8,980 households in 55 displacement sites were identified in Afar region.

82,968 displaced individuals comprising 38,293 households in 162 displacement sites were identified in Tigray region.
