The ongoing conflict in Yemen, since March 2015, has led to the displacement of more than 3.6 million people (according to DTM's 2018 Area Assessment). DTM's Rapid Displacement Tracking tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs.

In the first nine months of 2019, from the beginning of the year until 15th September, 351,366 individuals (58,561 Households) were displaced. Between 08 and 15 September, prominent displacements were seen in Taizz (128 HH), Ibb (36 HH), Abyan (31 HH) and Amanat Al Asimah (30 HH) Governorates.

Most displacement resulted due to increased fighting in Aden (106 HH), Al Hudaydah (47 HH) and Taizz (43 HH).
