As the September to December (SOND) rainfall season winds down, extreme weather events, specifically floods, landslides, hailstorms, and heavy winds have led to significant devastation in the affected districts. The disasters have adversely impacted 7,052 individuals, comprising 1,618 households, with 1,859 individuals from 412 households being internally displaced.

Demographically, adults (19-64 years) constitute the majority of the affected population at 61%, followed by children under 19 years at 30%, and the elderly above 64 years at 9%. The primary needs identified in the aftermath of these disasters include shelter, child protection and general protection.

The damage assessment revealed that 233 houses have been partially damaged, while 46 houses have been completely destroyed. Additionally, 71 water facilities and 9 schools have suffered adverse effects.
