As of 7 September 2017, there are approximately 3,5 million foreign nationals present on Turkish territory seeking international protection. Most of them are Syrians 3,168,757 who were granted temporary protection status. In addition, there are 590,540 foreign nationals holding residency permit status.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
