In response to the needs of people affected by the recent floods in North Darfur state, the DTM team conducted a door-to-door assessment mission in Shangil Tobay town and Um Deressaya IDP camp to assess and register the flood affected population. Out of 281 reported  households, the IOM DTM team registered and identified 232 households (1,041 individuals) in the two targeted areas. Out of the 232 registered and verified households, 218 households comprising of 973 individuals were registered in Shangil Tobay town and 14 households comprising of 68 individuals registered in Um Deressaya IDP camp. Out of the registered households in Shangil Tobay, 96 houses were completely damaged and 122 houses were identified as partially damaged. In Um Deressaya IDP camp, 8 houses were completely damaged while 6 houses were partially damaged.
