IOM Somalia is piloting the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Transhumance Tracking Tool (TTT) system to provide regular and transparent data on pastoral mobility to contribute to the production, analysis and sharing of information to support evidence-based conflict prevention and mitigation strategies in Galmudug State - a region of Somalia where competition over scarce natural resources are increasing the risk for violent conflict. This document provides an overview of the objective and approach to the set up of the TTT in Somalia.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
