Somalia — Border Point Flow Monitoring (December 2018)

December saw an increase in flows recorded in Somalia, with a total of 7,310 individuals recorded for this month (in comparison with 5,383 in November). While outflows remained at similar levels, inflows increased significantly (from 2,710 individuals in November to 4,689 individuals in December). Main points of entry were Buuhoodle (Puntland), Dhobley (Lower Juba), and Diff (Lower Juba); while main points of exit were Diff, Dhobley, and Tulo Barwako (all located in the Lower Juba region). The great majority of movements identified were entries (64%), while solely 36% were exit flows.
