On 10 October, armed bandits reportedly attacked the community Barkin Daji in the Kuruwa ward of Tureta LGA in Sokoto State. The attack affected 94 individuals, who were displaced to the community of Kan Wuri in the Tureta ward of Tureta LGA. As a result of the attack, 2 injuries were reported.
On 12 October, armed herders reportedly attacked the community of Yeluwata, located in Nyiev ward of Guma of Benue State. The attack affected 199 individuals and led to the displacement of 193 individuals to the Ichwa Camp in North Bank I ward of Makurdi LGA in Benue state. As a result of the attack, 6 fatalities and 4 injuries were reported.
Furthermore, on 12 October, a flood resulting from an overflow of River Benue caused by the Lagdo dam opening in Cameroon was reported in the community of Wadata Rice Mill in Ankpa/Wadata ward of Makurdi LGA of Benue State. The flood affected 263 individuals and led to their displacement to the Ichwa Camp in the North Bank I ward of Makurdi LGA. As a result of the flood, 3 injuries were reported.
On 16 October, armed bandits reportedly attacked the community of Shantalawa in the Makera ward of Dutsin-Ma LGA in Katsina State. The attack affected 191 individuals, who were displaced within the community. As a result of the attack, 6 injuries were reported.
Also, on 16 October, a fire outbreak was reported in the community Bakin Kasuwa in the Ingawa ward of Ingawa LGA of Katsina State. The fire outbreak affected 11 individuals and led to their displacement to neighbouring shelters in the community. As a result of the fire outbreak, 1 injury was reported.
