Between 05 and 11 August 2024, a total of 2,073 new arrivals were recorded at locations in Adamawa and Borno states. The new arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Gubio, Gwoza, Kaga, Kala Balge, Mafa, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the most conflict-affected Borno State, and in Demsa, Fufore, Ganye, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Jada, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo-Belwa, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa State.
ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: military operations (608 individuals or 29%), poor living conditions (469 individuals or 23%), seasonal farming (387 individuals or 19%), family re-unification (255 individuals or 12%), fear of attack (101 individuals or 5%), access to humanitarian support (96 individuals or 5%), government re-integration (90 individuals or 4%) and improved security (67 individuals or 3%).
