An assessment was carried out on 17 August 2017 by the DTM team in response to the displacement of persons into Madagali LGA. The assessment team confirmed that 3 villages (Bakin-Dutse, humbili and Wuno) were recently affected by Boko Haram attacks. Two of the villages, Bakin-Dutse and Humbili were attacked on 8 and 9 August respectively, while the people of Wuno fled, fearing a possible attack on their village. A total of 216 households and 1,511 individuals were displaced from the villages. The displaced persons are currently staying at Lomure Gulak and gare Gulak.
