As of January 25, 2017, DTM has identified 1,899,830 IDPs (337,353 households) across Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states. This represents an increase from 1,770,444 individuals in Round 13, reflecting the expanding terrain the DTM covers as a result of relative improvements in security and access. The largest IDP populations were in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. 97.2% of the IDPs were displaced because of the Boko Haram conflict.
