Niger — Flow Monitoring Report (March 2018)

As of February 2016, IOM Niger has been carrying out flow monitoring of migrants at two points in Niger in the region of Agadez. Flow monitoring points (FMPs) are active in Séguédine and Arlit. The data collected provides a snapshot of migrant movements through the region. In March 2018, 361 individuals were observed daily on average, an increase of 20% from February 2018. Most of the migrants observed were male (91%). Nigerians, Nigerians and Malians were the main nationalities observed during the month.
