27,239 incoming individuals were observed at FMPs during the recording period. 6,329 outgoing individuals were observed at FMPs during the recording period, 1 February 2017- 28 February 2017. Returns from Libya continue (4,000 + into Séguédine this month) as the conditions in Libya continue to deteriorate for migrants. The main nationalities recorded this month were Nigeriens. Other nationalities were represented in much smaller quantities. Malians, Nigerians, Tchad, Cameroonians and Guineans among others were also recorded.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
