Mozambique — Emergency Tracking Tool Report — 200 (15 to 21 February 2023)

During the reporting period (15 to 21 February 2023), a total of 34 movements were recorded - 15 arrivals (3,261 individuals), 12 departures (305 individuals), 2 transits (11 individuals) and 5 returns (98 individuals). The largest arrival movements were recorded in Montepuez (2,793 individuals), Mocimboa da Praia (166 individuals) and Macomia (111 individuals). The largest departure movements were recorded in Nangade (169 individuals), and Metuge (86 individuals). The only transit movement was recorded in Ancuabe (11 individuals). The largest return movement was observed from Ibo to Mocimboa da Praia (69 individuals). Of the total population, 77 per cent of mobile groups were displaced for the first time, 10 per cent for a second time and 13 per cent were displaced at least three times.
