In Round 8 DTM Libya’s Mobility Tracking identified 4381,463 migrants. Migrants were identified in 99 baladiyas and 444 muhallas. 7,197 migrants were idenfitified as being in detention. 10% of migrants are minors. 93% of migrants left their home country for economic reasons, while 5% left because of war, conflict, insecurity or political reasons. The three main regions where migrants were recorded as present were Misrata (17%), Tripoli (14%) and Sebha (12%). The main nationalities of migrants were Egypt (18%), Niger (17%), and Chad (11%).
