During the reporting period 295 people were rescued and 1 body was retrieved. 3,977 individuals have been rescued thus far in 2017.

IOM’s Global Data Institute (GDI) and Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of International Migration (ISIM) produced the first Periodic Global Report on the State of Solutions to internal displacement (PROGRESS).
