During the reporting period 1,037 people were rescued and 23 bodies were retrieved. 3,682 individuals have been rescued thus far in 2017.

IOM’s Global Data Institute (GDI) and Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of International Migration (ISIM) produced the first Periodic Global Report on the State of Solutions to internal displacement (PROGRESS).
