The Return Index is a tool designed to measure the severity of conditions in locations of return. Data collection for the Return Index Round 18 took place during January and April 2023 across 9 governorates, 39 districts, and 2,157 locations in Iraq. During this round, 41 fewer locations of return were assessed.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
