DTM recorded 115,242 IDPs comprising 19,207 families. Of these, 88,332 reported that their district of origin was Mosul. The highest number of IDPs was recorded in Ninewa governorate, 113,898 individuals (99% of the total). 91,044 individuals were recorded living in camps and emergency sites. As of 26 December approximately 95 families arrived to Hasansham M2 (former Khazer M2) emergency camp from Markaz Tilkaif and Markaz Mosul sub-districts.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
