Iraq — Mosul Operations Data Snapshot (2 May 2017)

DTM recorded 59,735 IDP families comprised of 258,410 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (323,982 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (309,492 individuals). As of 1 May, updated figures about Hammam al-Aliel 1 camp and the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Returns have been recorded from Nargizliya 1 and 2 camps to Markaz Mosul. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Ninewa, Salah al-Din and Anbar governorates.
