From the start of January 2014 through 13 October 2016, the DTM identified 3,233,832 internally displaced individuals (538,972 families). This maps shows the sizes of IDP population residing in 3 main shelter categories (private, critical, camp plus unknown). In total, 66% reside in private settings, 17% in critical shelter arrangements, 15% in camps and 2% in unknown shelter arrangements.
