DTM identified 237,967 internally displaced persons, 29,728 unregistered refugees and 61,090 returnees. 7% of the displaced population was displaced by flooding and other natural disasters while the vast majority (93%) was displaced by conflict. An estimated 46% of the displaced population lives in host families while 16% lives in rented spaces, 23% in spontaneous settlements, 1% in collective shelters, and less than 1% lives in the open air without shelter. 67% of the displaced population are minors.
