Middle East And North Africa — Monthly Regional Update (June 2020)

The DTM Monthly Regional Update contains consolidated summary updates and highlights from DTM field operations. This document covers updates from the regional network of flow monitoring of migrants, as well as the tracking and monitoring of internal displacement in the countries.

Sudan — Mobility Restriction Dashboard 17 (27 August 2020)

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Sudan (GoS) declared a nationwide health emergency and introduced mitigation measures in March 2020 to reduce the transmission of the virus.

Yemen — Rapid Displacement Tracking Update (16 August - 22 August 2020)

DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs.

Sudan — Registration Quarterly Overview (April - June 2020)

From April to June 2020, IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) conducted 6,549 registrations across three states in Sudan – 3,186 (49%) of which were internally displaced persons (IDPs) and 3,363 (51%) returnees.

Libya — Migrant Report 31 (May- June 2020)

This report presents the findings of DTM Round 31 (May-June 2020) data collection, in which at least 600,362 migrants of over 46 nationalities were identified in Libya. Migrants’ presence was recorded in all 100 Libyan municipalities and in 568 communities (muhallas).

Libya — Mobility Restriction Dashboard 6 (01 - 31 July 2020)

During the reporting period, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Libya more than quadrupled in July, increasing from 824 to 3,621 confirmed cases (+2,797). The majority of new COVID-19 cases were identified in Tripoli, Sebha and Misrata.

Lebanon— Migrant Worker Vulnerability Baseline Assessment Report (May-July 2020)

On 4th August 2020, a large explosion occurred at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, injuring more than 5,000 individuals and causing over 150 deaths.

يستعرض هذا التقرير نتائج الجولة الواحدة والثلاثين المستخلصة من عمل وحدة تتبّع التنقل الخاصّة بمصفوفة تتبع النزوح في ليبيا والتي تغطّي الفترة الممتدة بين شهري مايو ويونيو من سنة 2020 . وخلال هذه الجولة، ارتفع عدد النازحين داخليا في ليبيا من 401.836 نازحا إلى 425.714 نازحا.
