Entre el 13 de febrero y el 4 de marzo de 2022, la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) realizó la Ronda 13 de la Encuesta de Monitoreo de Flujos, componente de la Matriz de Seguimiento al Desplazamiento (DTM por sus siglas en inglés), para dar seguimiento al flujo de población de nacionalidad venezolana en Ecuador.

En este ejercicio se considera Tenosique durante el mes de enero 2023. 

Se seleccionó Tenosique por ser uno de los principales puntos por los que transitan las personas migrantes que ingresan al país por la frontera sur. 

En esta ocasión, la encuesta utilizada incluye nueve secciones: información sociodemográfica, rutas, servicios de salud, factores influyentes en la migración, perfil de personas en situación de vulnerabilidad, riesgos en el viaje, acceso a servicios legales y consulares, retorno, así como comunicación e información.

On 25 April, armed bandits reportedly attacked the community Yantumaki Town of Yantumaki ward A in Dan Musa local government area (LGA) of Katsina State. The attack affected 162 individuals and displaced 157 individuals to the community Dan Musa Town in Dan Musa ward A of Dan Musa LGA. As a result of the attack, 5 fatalities and 15 injuries were reported.


On 26 April, clashes between herders and farmers were reported in the community of Opaha in Edikwu I ward of Apa LGA in Benue State. The clash affected 113 individuals, who were still within the community. As a result of the clashes, 17 fatalities and 9 injuries were reported.

The DTM Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) is deployed to track and to collect information on large and sudden population movements, provide frequent updates on the scale of displacement and quantify the affected population when needed. As a sub-component of the Mobility Tracking methodology in Nigeria, ETT utilises direct observations and a broad network of key informants to capture the best estimates of the affected population per location, enabling targeted humanitarian response planning.

Between 24 and 30 April 2023, a total of 1,286 new arrivals were recorded in locations in Adamawa and Borno states. The new arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Biu, Damboa, Gwoza, Kala Balge* and Munguno Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the most conflict-affected State of Borno and in Gombi, Hong, Lamurde, Maiha, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Song and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa State.

La Matrice de suivi des déplacements ( Displacement Tracking Matrix en anglais) est mise en oeuvre en Mauritanie pour recueillir des données sur les déplacements et les flux migratoires, ainsi que sur les profils et besoins des populations mobiles.

Dans ce cadre, la DTM développe des produits d'information (notamment des rapports, tableaux de bord, cartes et bases de données) compilant et analysant les données recueillies, afin d'orienter les opérations et stratégies des partenaires et de fournir un aperçu des dynamiques de mouvements de populations dans le pays. Afin d'améliorer les produits de la DTM Mauritanie et de répondre aux besoins des partenaires, une enquête sur l’utilisation des produits d’information a été menée en février 2023.

Ce tableau de bord présente les principaux résultats de cette enquête et donne des indications sur les besoins d’information, ainsi que des pistes de réflexion quant à l'amélioration et l'adaptation des produits d'information proposés.
