From 1 January to 8 April 2023, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 2,763 households (HH) (16,578 Individuals) who experienced displacement at least once.
Between 2 and 8 April 2023, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 219 households (1,314 individuals) displaced at least once. The majority of people moved into/within the following governorates and districts:
- Ma’rib (161 HHs) – Harib (155 HHs), Ma’rib City (6 HHs) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal.
- Ta’iz (28 HHs) – Al Makha (22 HHs), Jabal Habashi (5 HHs), Al Misrakh (1 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Ta’iz and Al Hodeidah.
- Shabwah (23 HHs) – Markhah Al Olya (15 HHs), Ayn (8 HHs) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Shabwah and Ma’rib.
- Ma’rib (164 HHs) – Harib (163 HHs), Raghwan (1 HH) districts.
- Ta’iz (21 HHs) – Maqbanah (19 HHs), Al Maafer (1 HH), Dimnat Khadir (1 HH) districts.
- Shabwah (15 HHs) – Markhah Al Olya (15 HHs) district.
