From 01 January 2021 to 11 September 2021 , IOM Yemen DTM estimates that 10,164 households (HH) (60,984 Individuals) have experienced displacement at least once.
Since the beginning of 2021, DTM also identified 590 displaced households who left their locations of displacement and either moved back to their place of origin or another location.
Between 05 and 11 September 2021, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 385 households (2,310 individuals) displaced at least once. The top three districts of the top three governorates that saw the highest number of displacements were:
• Marib (264 HH) – Jabal Murad (92 HH), Rahabah (80 HH), Al Jubah (47 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal.
• Al Hudaydah (36 HH) – At Tuhayat (36 HH) district. All displacements in the governorate were internal.
• Taizz (30 HH) – Jabal Habashy (7 HH), Al Mukha (7 HH), Al Misrakh (6 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate originated from Taizz and Al Hudaydah.
Most displacements resulted from the increased conflict in the following governorates and districts.
• Marib (252 HH) – Rahabah (248 HH), Al Jubah (2 HH), Marib (1 HH) districts.
• Al Hudaydah (56 HH) – At Tuhayat (35 HH), Al Garrahi (4 HH), Al Qanawis (3 HH) districts.
• Taizz (21 HH) – Maqbanah (9 HH), Salh (3 HH), Hayfan (2 HH) districts.
