From 01 January 2020- 6 Jun 2020, IOM Yemen DTM estimates that 15,748 Households or 94,488 Individuals have experienced displacement, at least once. Between the 31st of May 2020 and 06th of June 2020, the highest number of displacements were seen in: • Al Maharah (408 HH) – Hat (156 HH), Huswain (100 HH), Al Ghaydah (66 HH), Sayhut (55 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal. • Shabwah (352 HH) – Rudum (345 HH) district. Most displacements in the governorate were internal. • Hadramaut (181 HH) – Brom Mayfa (129 HH), Hajr (44 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal. Most displacement resulted of natural disaster in the following Governorates and districts: • Al Maharah (408 HH) – Hat (156 HH), Huswain (100 HH), Al Ghaydah (66 HH) districts. • Shabwah (352 HH) – Rudum (345 HH) district. Most displacement resulted from spread of COVID-19 in the following Governorates and districts: • Aden (187 HH) – Al Mansura (83 HH), Khur Maksar (24 HH), Dar Sad (24 HH) districts. Methods used: • DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs. Limitations: • DTM Yemen is unable to report on figures in some governorates due to access limitations.
