During the month of December 2020, 6,908 movements were observed at flow monitoring points in Djibouti representing a daily average of 223 movements. This is a 15% increase from the 194 average daily movements observed in November. Of these 6, 908 movements, 21% were observed at Obock.
The DTM has identified 127,519 internally displaced persons (IDPs) and 27,548 households in the month of November 2020.

In Week 3 (2021), from 10 to 16 January 2021, a total of 4,770 movements were observed at various flow monitoring points (FMP) across Somalia, of which 61 per cent were incoming flows and 39 per cent were outgoing flows.

Following the border closure in Ethiopia and due to the stricter border management policies in Yemen, some of the migrants who were transiting through Djibouti on their way to or from the Arabian Peninsula found themselves stranded in the country.
In December 2020, a total of 19,601 movements were observed at Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs). This represents an increase of 6% in comparison with November 2020 when 18,434 movements were observed.

In December 2020, the monthly population count was conducted at Masna collective centre where 3,737 individuals/775 households were identified and Naivasha IDP Camp with 8,939 individuals/2,651 households.
Baseline 1 assessment (B1) as a component of Mobility Tracking (MT) involves collecting basic data on population presence and accessibility of settlements. The assessment is carried out remotely by setting up a network of key informants (KI) for each district.
In Week 53 (2020) and Week 1 (2021), from 27 December 2020 to 2 January 2021, a total of 5,055 movements were observed at various flow monitoring points (FMP) across Somalia, of which 63 per cent were incoming flows and 37 per cent were outgoing flows.
La DTM a identifié 127 832 Personnes Déplacées Internes (PDI) et 27 615 ménages PDI au cours du mois de septembre 2020. Parmi ces personnes, 83 pour cent ont été déplacées suite à une catastrophe naturelle, tandis que 17 pour cent ont été déplacées pour d’autres raisons.

IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix conducted 5,563 interviews representing 18,044 individual movements in to and out of Bentiu Protection of Civilian (PoC) site from July to September 2020. Most of the same day movements were females (80%) moving out of the site to collect firewood.
