This dashboard provides an analysis of the trends in population mobility observed at five (5) active flow monitoring points (FMPs) established at unofficial border crossing points, between Burundi and United Republic of Tanzania border at Kwa Rutuku, Mukambati, Mbundi, Kabuyenge and Kabogo.

This atlas contains a summary of findings form the tenth round of Mobility Tracking conducted across South Sudan through key-informant based assessment at payam and location level between November and December 2020.

The DTM has identified 122,483 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in 27,300 households, 84% of the displacement were due to natural disasters and 16% other reasons in the month of July 2021 covering all 18 provinces of Burundi.

Over the reporting period, a total of 1291 movements were observed at five (5) Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) at the border with Kenya. Slightly different to the previous month, this month had incoming flows (50%) almost same as outgoing flows (50%).

Over the reporting period, a total of 1609 movements were observed at five (5) Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) at the border with Kenya. The month saw a majority of incoming flows (52%) against outgoing flows (48%).

During the month of July 2021, 9,821 movements were observed at flow monitoring points in Djibouti representing a daily average of 317 movements. This is a decrease of 17% from the 382 average daily movements observed in June 2021.

From 1— 26 June 2021, the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) deployed its Emergency Site Assessment to capture internal displacement related to the Northern Ethiopia Crisis.

In July 2021, a total of 22,900 movements were observed at 7 Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs). This represents an increase of 62 per cent in comparison with July 2020 when 14,134 movements were observed.
