During the period of 6 - 12 April 2020, a total of 2,048 movements were recorded, composed of 1,506 arrivals and 542 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Biu, Dikwa, Gwoza, Hawul, Mobbar and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno State.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected mobility in West and Central Africa in the form of various travel disruptions, restrictions and bans, which often leave migrants stranded.
During the period of 30 March - 5 April 2020, a total of 1,603 movements were recorded, composed of 1,120 arrivals and 483 departures.
The purpose of the Event Tracking Tool is to gather and provide up-to-date information on events related to COVID-19 affecting population movements, recorded at entry points as well as DTM Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs).

DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
