À propos Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda was affected by Hurricane Irma, which made landfall on the 6th September 2017 and mainly affected the island of Barbuda. With the expectation of Hurricane Jose to follow, an evacuation of the island was directed to Antigua. DTM was operational during the emergency response in 2017, tasked with gathering, analysing, and disseminating critical information on needs, movements, population trends, and the coordination of humanitarian efforts. The production of up to date information enabled decision-makers and responding partners to provide targeted, context-specific assistance. The products included site assessments as well as return intention surveys at transfer from the crisis to the recovery stage of the mission.
