South Sudan — Mangala Rapid Flow Monitoring (January - May 2022)
Since mid-June 2020, people in South Sudan have been affected by flooding in areas along the White Nile.
South Sudan — Nyinkuac IDP Site Biometric Registration (September 2022)
Aneet Town in Abyei Administrative Area (AAA) experienced rounds of land induced conflict in February 2022. This led to displacement of people to Comboni Primary school, who were later asked to vacate the facility as schools resumed.
South Sudan — Rotriak Site Population Count (July 2022)
Rotriak is a location in Budang payam of Rubkona county and was initially a checkpoint for cargo heading to and from Sudan before the 2013 crisis.
Ethiopia — Flow Monitoring Dashboard 35 (August 2022)
In August 2022, a total of 27,005 movements were observed across five of Ethiopia's flow monitoring points (FMPs). This represents an 11% increase in daily average movements in comparison with July 2022 when an average of 784 movements per day were observed.
South Sudan — Bentiu IDP Town Sites Population Count (July 2022)
Unity State has been experiencing flooding since 2019 in the counties of Mayendit, Leer, Panyijiar, and Koch. As a result of the flooding in Guit and Rubkona in 2021, Bentiu Town Sites (A, B, C, D, and E) were formed in August 2021.

South Sudan — Malakal PoC Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (January-March 2022)
IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) continued conducting Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (DSFM) at the gates of Malakal PoC Site. During this period, 4,012 interviews were conducted representing 6,616 individual movements into / out of the PoC site.
Migration Along the Eastern Corridor (August 2022)
The Horn of Africa and Yemen is one of the busiest and riskiest migration corridors in the world travelled by hundreds of thousands of migrants, the majority of whom travel in an irregular manner, often relying on smugglers to facilitate movement along the Eastern Route.
Burundi – Tableau de bord des déplacements internes (juillet 2022)
La DTM a identifié 83 588 personnes déplacées internes (PDI) réparties dans 19 047 ménages déplacés, 91% des déplacements étaient dus à des désastres nasturels et 9% à d'autre raisons.
South Sudan — Wau Masna Collective Centre Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (January-March 2022)
IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) continued conducting Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (DSFM) at the gates of Wau Masna Collective Centre. In the first quarter of 2022, 2,077 interviews were conducted representing 3,073 individual movements into / out of the collective centre.
South Sudan — Bentiu IDP Camp Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (January-March 2022)
IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) continued conducting Displacement Site Flow Monitoring (DSFM) at the gates of Bentiu IDP camp. The first quarter of 2022 saw 9,694 interviews recorded accounting for 43,027 individuals moving into / out of the camp.
Burundi – Internal Displacement Dashboard (July 2022)
DTM has identified 83,588 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in 19,047 households, 91% of the displacement were due to natural disasters and 9% other reasons.

During the reporting period (15 to 20 September 2022), a total of 103 movements were recorded - 74 arrivals (2,535 individuals), 19 departures (605 individuals), 1 transit (4 individuals), and 9 returns (959 individuals).
