South Sudan — Wau PoC and collective centres headcount trends (2018)

Wau Town features two PoC sites and five collective centres in which IOM-DTM conducts monthly headcounts to monitor changing population dynamics and displacement trends. These include: Wau PoC 1 and Wau PoC AA sites, as well as Cathedral, Nazareth, St.

South Sudan — Bentiu PoC Headcount Trends (2018)

The Bentiu Protection of Civilian (PoC) site was established in December 2013. As of December 2018, 161,071 beneficiaries remained registered in the site.

South Sudan — Mobility Tracking Round 3: Unity Focus

Through Mobility Tracking, DTM is able to provide a comprehensive baseline and regular updates on the trends and changes in numbers, locations and priority needs of IDPs and returnees in South Sudan. IOM DTM conducted its third round of data collection between July and August 2018.

South Sudan — Biometric registration update: Juba PoC sites (October 2018)

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) team in South Sudan began the exercise in early September with a two-day Temporary Registration (T-REG), which enabled the organization to quickly determine, which persons are currently resident in the site.

South Sudan — Perceptions Survey, Bentiu & Rubkona (September 2018)

88% of household indicated that they are separated from family members, with schooling being the most cited reason.88% reported nuclear family living outside the PoC, and of those residing in displacement sites 60% were in Bentiu PoC and 29% in UN House PoC 3.

Burundi — Suivi des urgences (13 — 19 Janvier 2019)

Ce document donne des informations sur les urgences au Burundi pour la semaine du 13 au 19 Janvier 2019. La DTM a identifié 697 personnes affectées dont 656 personnes déplacées par des pluies torrentielles. 

Ethiopia — Interactive Site Profile Generator 14 (November - December 2018)

The interactive site profile generator can be used to create site profiles for any site assessed in the round. Simply select the site you wish to have a profile for and generate the new file.  

Ethiopia — National Displacement Dashboard 14 (November/December 2018)

The majority of the recorded population were displaced during 2017 with 604 sites which reportedly opened in 2017 (DTM Rounds 3-8). Conflict was reported as the primary driver of displacement (1,773,482IDPs), followed by displacement due to climate induced factors (498,417IDPs).

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Tigray Region (November - December 2018)

 72,113 displaced individuals comprising  33,448 households in 149 displacement sites were identified in Tigray region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Gambella Region (November - December 2018)

24,689 displaced individuals comprising  3,624 households in 14 displacement sites were identified in Gambella region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Afar Region (November - December 2018)

50,619 displaced individuals comprising  8,780 households in 54 displacement sites were identified in Afar region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Somali Region (November - December 2018)

1,006,276 displaced individuals comprising  167,652 households in 389 displacement sites were identified in Somali region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Oromia Region (November - December 2018)

1,145,848 displaced individuals comprising  180,772 households in 515 displacement sites were identified in Oromia region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 14, Amhara Region (November - December 2018)

13,519 displaced individuals comprising  4,109 households in 59 displacement sites were identified in Amhara region.

Uganda — Flow Monitoring Dashboard: Uganda/DRC Border (22 December 2018—5 January 2019)

IOM Uganda monitors migration flows along the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) through six strategically located flow monitoring points (FMP).

South Sudan — Intentions and Perception Survey – Wau PoC AA (December 2018)

Findings of an intention-perception survey conducted in the Wau PoC AA site (Western Bahr El Ghazal) by IOM-DTM in coordination with CCCM between mid-December 2018 and beginning of January 2019.

Ethiopia — Gedeo and West Guji Rapid Response Assessment 4 (12-30 November2018)

From April to July 2018 a localized conflict in Gedeo and West Guji zones caused the displacement of 958,175 people. Of these, an estimated 166,792 individuals were displaced in West Guji while 791,383 individuals were reportedly displaced in Gedeo.

Burundi — Rapport de déplacement (Novembre 2018)

Les évaluations niveau commune fournissent des informations sur les tendances de déplacement dans toutes les 119 communes du Burundi. Ces évaluations permettent d’obtenir des informations sur les périodes de déplacement, les provinces d’origine et les nouveaux phénomènes de déplacement.
