Turkey - DTM Baseline Assessment Report Round 2 (November 2018)
According to the findings from the Baseline report, across the ten provinces assessed, the Baseline 2 recorded presence of 195,849 migrants, 14 per cent less than the 229,419 recorded in the Baseline 1.

DTM Flow Monitoring data shows that an estimated 43,752 migrants and refugees arrived in Europe between January and May 2018 using different sea and land routes. The Eastern Mediterranean route is the most active route this year with 19,154 registered arrivals in Greece.

Between January and December 2017, approximately 33,000 children arrived in Greece, Italy, Spain and Bulgaria. This represents a decrease of 70% compared to 2016.

The report finds that this year there were 6,290 arrivals to Italy, the lowest figure reported since 2014. In the first quarter of 2018, Hellenic authorities registered 7,343 arrivals, a 67% increase compared to the 4,407 reported in the same period in 2017.
