The Multi-Sectoral Location Assessments conducted from 26 March to 31 March 2019 by DTM teams in 64 sites located in Chikwawa, Nsanje, Phalombe and Zomba  allowed us to produice these Site Profiles.

As of 29 March 2019, according to Mozambique’s National Institute of Disaster Management (INGC), 140,784 individuals (29,098 families) have been displaced and taken shelter in evacuation centres in the four provinces of Sofala (116), Zambezia (13), Tete (5) and Manica (27).

Since the beginning of March 2019, Malawi has experienced flooding and sustained heavy rain caused by the Tropical Cyclone Idai weather system.
