Yemen - Rapid Displacement Tracking Report (01 Jan – 28 Sep 2019).

The ongoing conflict in Yemen, since March 2015, has led to the displacement of more than 3.6 million people (according to DTM's 2018 Area Assessment). DTM's Rapid Displacement Tracking tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs.

In the first nine months of 2019, from the beginning of the year until 28th September, 356,556 individuals (60,210 Households) were displaced. 

Between 22nd and 28th September, prominent displacements were seen in Al Hudaydah (209 HH) mostly from At Tuhayat (121 HH) and Az Zuhrah (84 HH), Taizz (182 HH) mostly from Jabal Habashy (27 HH), Mawiyah (21 HH) and Al Mawasit (19 HH) districts, Al Jawf (103 HH) mostly from Khabb wa ash Sha'af (36 HH), Rajuzah (26 HH) and Bart Al Anan (26 HH) districts and Abyan (87 HH) mostly from Zingibar (75 HH) district.

Most displacement resulted due to increased fighting in Al Hudaydah (208 HH) mostly in At Tuhayat (121 HH) and Al Hali (25 HH) districts, Aden (113 HH) mostly in Al Buraiqeh (28 HH) and Al Mansura (24 HH) districts, Hajjah (105 HH) mostly in Abs (92 HH) district and Taizz (89 HH) mostly from Maqbanah (22 HH).
