The report identified Taizz governorate to host the highest proportion of the IDP population with 620,934 individuals across 282 locations. The identified displaced population consists of 224,410 female adults, 138,172 male adults while 131,802 and 126,549 individuals are female and male children, respectively. The IDP poluation, although varies in size, is dispersed across all 24 districts of the governroate. A significant population of 230,514 individuals or 37% of the displaced population in Taizz have sought refuge in the southern districts of Ash Shamayatayn (26%) and Hayfan (11%), which border the north of Lahj governorate.
