Flow Monitoring is an exercise through which DTM monitors trends of mobility into, out of, and within Yemen, in order to monitor the human mobility of other country nationals and better inform the humanitarian community and those responding. Between 1-31 July 2017, a total of 34,002 migrants were identified in the areas assessed, while 60,270 entries were identified between January 2017 and July 2017. From May to July, the number of migrants has been increasing consistently. The majority of the identified population were Ethiopian and Somali nationals. This is consistent with previous rounds of data collection. The majority of identified population was male. In July, 8% of the mobile population were unaccompanied minors. The identified population reported that food was the most pressing need. Shelter and housing were the second-most pressing need.
