South Sudan — Event Tracking: Tambura (May 2019)

The International Organization for Migration’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) has identify 446 IDPs (174 Households) in Tambura Centre (Tambura County), Western Equatoria confirming recent reports of new displacement in the area.

South Sudan — Ebola Preparedness Flow Monitoring Report (January-April 2019)

As part of IOM’s Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) preparedness activities, DTM operates Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) on the borders with Uganda (UGA), the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR).

South Sudan — Wau PoC AA Headcount (May 2019)

Throughout 2018 until February 2019, DTM observed a steady decline of Wau PoC AA site’s population. However, between March and May, the population increased by 30 per cent (by 4,248 individuals).

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 16, Tigray (March - April 2019)

94,542 displaced individuals comprising  46,873 households in 183 displacement sites were identified in Tigray region.

20,883 displaced individuals comprising  3,034 households in 13 displacement sites were identified in Gambella region.

50,092 displaced individuals comprising  9,227 households in 58 displacement sites were identified in Afar region.

Ethiopia — National Displacement Dashboard 16 (March - April 2019)

The majority of the recorded population were displaced before 2018 with 890 sites reportedly opening in 2016 or 2017 (DTM Rounds 1-8). Conflict was reported as the primary driver of displacement with 1,623,716 conflict-affected IDPs tracked through the Site Assessment.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 16, Somali Region (March - April 2019)

1,066,732 displaced individuals comprising  176,771 households in 415 displacement sites were identified in Somali region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 16, Oromia (March - April 2019)

852,573 displaced individuals comprising  144,316 households in 463 displacement sites were identified in Oromia region.

Ethiopia — Displacement Report 16, Amhara (March - April 2019)

90,144 displaced individuals comprising  21,439 households in 80 displacement sites were identified in Amhara region.

Burundi — Rapport de déplacement (Mars 2019)

En mars 2019, la matrice de suivi des déplacements (DTM) comptait 124,578 personnes déplacées à l'intérieur de leur propre pays et 27,720 ménages déplacés. Sur ces déplacements, 75 pour cent ont été déplacés à la suite de catastrophes naturelles et 25 pour cent, pour d’autres raisons.

In April 2019, a total of 32,933 movements were observed at Flow Monitoring Points. This represents a significant increase (41%) in comparison with March 2019 when 23,407 movements were observed.

Djibouti — Rapport Sur Les Points De Suivi Des Flux (Avril 2019)

Le mois d'avril a connu una baisse de 8% du nombre de personnes observées par rapport au mois précédent. Cependent, les données montrent une augmentation de 180 personnes déplacées pour cause de conflit, passant de 171 personnes en mars à 351 personnes en avril.
