The Mongolian Government has taken early and very active measures to prevent and stop an eventual spread of the COVID-19.
COVID-19 cases continue to follow an upward trend across Asia and the Pacific with countries stepping up response, as well as intensifying mobility restrictions. As of 3 April, over 163,000 cases and more than 7,000 deaths have been reported in the region.

The number of COVID-19 cases continues to increase across Asia and the Pacific with countries stepping up response, as well as intensifying mobility restrictions. As of 27 March, more than 136,000 cases and over 6,000 deaths have been reported in the region.
As the number of COVID-19 cases increases across a growing number of countries in the Asia Pacific, IOM is concerned about the impacts on migrants, refugees, IDPs, returnees and other vulnerable groups.

DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
