Between November 17 and 26 , 2024, escalating attacks and pervasive fear of further violence by Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs) in Ancuabe and Chiúre districts led to the displacement of approximately 16,087 individuals (3,988 families) to safer locations, within Chiúre town with key informants highlighting that 47% of the individuals displaced mentioned food as the immediate humanitarian need followed by, shelter (25%), essential Non-Food Items (NFI) (22%), and others (6%).
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
