Iraq — Mosul Operations Data Snapshot (4 May 2017)

DTM recorded 59,875 IDP families comprised of 359,250individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (324,828 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (309,702 individuals). As of 3 May 2017, returns have been recorded from Nargizliya 1 and 2 camps to Markaz Mosul. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Ninewa, particularly in Al-Qayara and Al-Shura sub-district. Qayyara Airstrip emergency site reported an overall increase of 42 IDP families.
