DTM recorded 103,872 IDPs comprising 17,312 families. Of these, 82,614 reported that their district of origin was Mosul. The highest number of IDPs was recorded in Ninewa governorate, 102,660 individuals (99% of the total). 87,924 individuals were recorded living in camps and emergency sites.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
