La DTM a identifié 3 781 personnes affectées (1 270 ménages) dont 3 698 personnes déplacées (1 254 ménages) par les inondations, les pluies torrentielles et les vents violents dans les provinces de Bujumbura Rural, Cibitoke et Bubanza.
Entre le 26 et le 31 mars 2023, la DTM a identifié 472 personnes affectées, dont 221 personnes déplacées.
Entre le 12 et le 18 mars 2023, la DTM a identifié 15 personnes affectées, dont 15 personnes déplacées par les vents violents dans la province de Rutana.
Entre le 6 et le 11 février 2023, le DTM a identifié 4 699 personnes affectées, dont 637 personnes déplacées par la grêle, les vents violents, les pluies torrentielles et les inondations dans les provinces de Bujumbura, Muyinga et Cankuzo.
Entre le 5 et le 11 mars 2023, la DTM a identifié 13 284 personnes affectées, dont 120 personnes déplacées par la grêle, les pluies torrentielles et les glissements de terrain dans les provinces de Bujumbura, Bubanza, Kayanza et Muyinga.
Entre le 19 et 25 février 2023, dans la province de Kirundo, la DTM a identifié 6806 personnes affectées, dont 297 ont été déplacées dû aux vents violents, grêle et pluies torrentielles. Parmi ces personnes, quatre personnes sont blessées.
Entre le 26 février et le 4 mars 2023, dans la province de Bujumbura Rural, la DTM a identifié 37 personnes affectées, dont 11 ont été déplacées par des glissements de terrain. Parmi ces personnes, deux personnes sont blessées.
Entre le 12 et le 18 Février 2023, la DTM a identifié 3 184 personnes affectées dont 1 289 personnes déplacées. Les types d'urgences reportées comprennent Grêle, Vents violents et Pluies torrentielles.
Entre le 29 Janvier 2022 et le 5 Février 2023, la DTM a identifié 28 473 personnes affectées dont 1 029 personnes déplacées. Les types d'urgences reportées comprennent Grêle, Vents violents, Pluies torrentielles et Inondations.
Entre le 22 au 28 Janvier 2023, la DTM a identifié 1 948 personnes affectées dont 418 personnes déplacées.
Since 2018, natural disasters, in particular torrential rains, floods and strong winds that occurred in Burundi affected 341,747 persons, including 121,879 individuals that have been displaced.
