From 01 January 2020 - 01 Feb 2020, IOM Yemen DTM estimates that 3,288 Households or 19,728 Individuals have experienced displacement.
Between 21st January and first February, prominent displacements were seen in
• Marib (2,655 HH) - Raghwan (782 HH), Marib City (750 HH), Medghal (692 HH) and Marib (346 HH) districts.
• Al Jawf (274 HH) - Al Khalq (166 HH) and Al Hazm (108 HH) districts.
Most displacement resulted due to increased conflict in the following Governorates and districts.
• Marib (2,069 HH) - Majzar (1,969 HH) and Marib City (83 HH) districts.
• Sana’a (773 HH) - Nihm (773 HH) district.
• Al-Jawf (87 HH) - Al Ghayl (45 HH)Khabb wa ash Sha'af (20 HH) district.
Methods used:
• DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs.
Limitations:
• DTM Yemen is unable to report on figures in some governorates due to access limitations.
