The International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) conducted Emergency Event Tracking in Yirol East and Yirol West confirming displacement of 8,619 individuals (2,309 households) across the South-eastern part of Lakes State in early January 2020. In addition, combination of communal clashes and revenge killings in the area resulted in forced return of 1,293 indviduals to Angei, Majok, Pilingjier and Malek Town.
