During the period of July - September 2019, a total of 38,332 movements were recorded, composed of 19,173 arrivals and 19,159 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira/Uba, Bama, Biu, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gubio, Gwoza, Hawul, Jere, Kaga, Kala/Balge, Konduga, Mafa, Maiduguri M. C, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala LGAs of Borno state. Arrivals were also recorded in Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo-Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. Departures were recorded in Askira/Uba, Bama, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gubio, Gwoza, Kaga, Kala/Balge, Magumeri, Maiduguri and Monguno LGAs of Borno state, locations in Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Hong, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo-Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state and locations in Bursari, Damaturu and Geidam Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Yobe state.
ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: voluntary relocation (24%), conflict/attack (23%), poor living conditions (21%), Flood (15%), improved security (12%), fear of attack (3%), military operations (2%) and involuntary relocation (0.4%).
